The mounting has a jaw support rod (1) to retain the work to be gripped, extended by a fixing (3) to a support (4) spindle. The jaw support rod has two radial seatings extending perpendicularly to its axis and in which two jaws are mounted for simultaneous actuation. The jaws are driven by a screw (6) held by a screw (7) co-operating with a circular groove in the central part of the main screw. An ejector (12) is guided for movement by a pusher. An angular displacement actuator (15) allows relative movement of the jaw support rod and the threaded section forming the fixing in a support.
