Assembly clip of two elements (2,3) having thin walls, consists of, in one part, a circular base (4) provided with a front face (4a), and a rear face (4b) and an annular throat (6) formed to receive one of the elements (2), and in the other part, a projection (5) of a cylindrical form extending perpendicularly from the rear face (4b) of the base and arranged to engage in an opening (20) of the other element (3). It is characterised in that the circular base (4) has two tongues (13) extending on either side of the projection from its rear face and each one is provided with a method of indexing the clip onto the element (3) which are in the form of notches (16a,16b) in a conical surface (15a,15b) converging at its extreme end, so that it complies with two axial positions.
