The opener has a hollow body (1) which is extended by a cage (3) that holds the shell. It has two branches (4A,4B) that are joined at their end to form a stop (5) which centres the shell. A rod (2A) has a narrow end (2B) that is curved, to open the shell. The rod is moved axially in the body by a trigger (8) that is moved manually. It acts on a plate (9) which is moved by a spring (10) and moves the rod to bring its free end into contact with the shell.
