The invention relates to an elevator which is particularly suitable for connecting two floors inside a home and able to carry additional devices such as a wheelchair or the same without posing any problems. According to the invention, sensor monitoring means (6, 7, 8, 9) are provided for said elevator (1) which does not comprise a continuously closed elevator shaft. Said means comprise at least one radar sensor detecting danger areas during the operation of the inventive elevator (1). |
