Short wave receiver

The receiver has a data table containing time difference data (JISA) and frequency data (BBC,VOA,RADIO JAPAN) which are available in the zones covered by the time difference data with respect to mean Greenwich or Universal time. Frequency data for a zone in which the receiver is used is extracted from the table according to the zone time difference. The reception signal required is then selected from the extracted frequency data. The receiver can have a second data table which contains the time difference data and data relating to the corresponding zone names and a zone name selected from the table is converted into corresponding time difference data
