<p>The invention concerns a mixing valve mechanism for a plumbing fixture comprising a housing (1) containing a fixed ceramic insert (6) provided with three through passages (64, 65, 66), a mobile ceramic insert (5) provided with a through aperture (51) and sliding without clearance and sealed on the fixed insert (6), a driving member (4) integral with the mobile insert (5) and movable therewith in angular and linear movements relative to the fixed insert (6) and a guide (2) mounted rotating in the housing (1) bearing a tilting control lever (3) whereof one end is engaged with the driving member (4) for controlling its movements. The cylindrical housing (1) is made of a single piece, open at its two ends, its inner wall comprises in the proximity of its open end with the larger diameter guiding and catching means (12) co-operating with corresponding means of the fixed inserts (6) for locking said fixed insert (6) on the housing (1) thereby maintaining in assembled position the stack formed by the two inserts (5, 6), the driving member (4) and the guide (2) in the housing (1).</p> |
