Connection between bodywork sheet component and reinforcement element

The connection is formed by an edging of the bodywork sheet with a doubling over to fix the connecting element at an angle to the bodywork sheet, and also at another connecting point, to the reinforcement element. This connection is thus arranged so that the thickness of the edging is independent of the wall thickness of the reinforcement element. The doubled over part (4) forms an angled strip along the angle of the edging (3), in which the reinforcement element (2) is firmly fixed at least to the doubled over part.
