EXPLOSION-PROOF VALVE GROUP AND HERMETICALLY CLOSED SECONDARY BATTERY MADE BY USING THE SAME

An explosion-proof valve group having a lead lid which has built-in current flow path and can reduce the man-power of the process required for precision machining, positioning of the lid, etc., because the cap is formed by uniting a lead plate, lead wire, etc., constituting a current passage in a battery with an explosion-proof valve; and a hermetically closed secondary battery. The explosion valve group is constituted of explosion-proof valve bodies, a hollow insulator, and the lead lid formed by sticking metallic foil to a metallic substrate having a hole at the center. The hermetically closed secondary battery is constituted of a housing package, an electrode body composed of a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator housed in the housing package. The package is hermetically closed with a sealing lid which is integrally and hermetically fixed to the opening through an insulating gasket.
