Automotive clutch damper and secondary damping mechanism

An automotive clutch disc (94) has a secondary damping mechanism (7) with a centre plate (6) and a hub (8). The secondary damper has a holder (25), a plate, and first (11) and second (12) elastic zones. The holder has a first receiving element (25a) and a friction unit (25c) fixed to the centre plate. The plate (26) is installed on the hub in a disc arrangement close to the holder. Like the first receiving element, the first and second seating elements (26a,26c) are formed on the plate. The plate has circumferential friction arms (26e) which run over the friction element. The first and second elastic zones are so arranged that their ends are supported in a circular direction within the first receiving element and the first and second seat elements, and transfer torque between the holders and plate.
