摘要 FIELD: water cooling systems, circulating water supply systems for refrigerating machines and heat engineering equipment. SUBSTANCE: method of stepwise evaporative cooling of liquid includes initial evaporative cooling in first stage 2 of ejector cooler, after which cooled liquid is accumulated on perforated partition 6 due to excessive amount of this liquid forming hydraulic seal separating first stage 2 of ejector cooling from second stage of additional cooling; liquid continuously flows down in form of jets through holes of perforated partition 6 on sprinkling surface of heat exchanger 7 where it is additionally cooled due to "fresh" air fed through port 8 of additional passage 9 perpendicularly to flowing-down liquid by suction of air with the aid of fan 11 fitted at outlet of additional passage 9 after drip pan 10; then cold water flows to sump 12. EFFECT: increased heat-and-mass transfer in subsequent cooling stages; enhanced efficiency of cooling liquid. 1 dwg
