The engine mounting (12) fits in the vehicle frame structure (10) so that the integral central sector of the engine mounting is fitted to the rear end of the frame structure. The arm sectors (24) of the engine mounting extend forward from there. The central sector (23) of the engine mounting is integrated with the arms to form a one-piece U-shaped element, which may be tubular. There is also a separate transverse element between the two arm sectors and connected to them.
