Castor support wheel

The castor wheel has a mounting fork (26) with spaced legs (24) connected by a cover (22) at the top. A wheel (28) is mounted between the legs and rotatable around a pin (10) extending between the legs. A vertical bolt (32) supports the cover for rotation about an axis and has fixings to fit the fork. A brake shoe (40) is axially fixed to the free end (32c) of the bolt (32). The brake shoe (40) is held rotationally fixed against the bolt through the free end (50) of a loop (52). The loop has an opening (54) corresponding to the recess in the teeth (38) of a crown wheel (38).
