FIELD: pipe line fittings for bleeding air from pipe lines feeding liquid product to pipe lines, reservoirs and other receptacles. SUBSTANCE: air bleeder has vertical housing with cover provided with air bleeding passage. Detachable housing has upper and lower taper. parts with casing located between them. Vertical uprights with rollers secured on them are located on inner surface of casing; rollers are used for motion of guides of float. Guides are welded to fins of float. Fins are located over circumference at some distance to ensure rigidity of float. Shut-off members are mounted in upper and lower parts of housing and float. Shut-off members consist of welded strengthening ring of housing, seal and truncated taper-cylindrical ferrule of float. Air-bleeding passage is provided with fire barrier. EFFECT: increased capacity; enhanced reliability at large flow rates of air at low temperatures; extended range of application. 5 cl, 3 dwgn
