ICE HOCKEY STICK

The invention relates to the art of the sports equipment and, more specifically, to the sticks for playing ice hockey. The stick comprises the handle (1) and the blade (2) joined together by the elastic member (3), the ends of which are attached to the handle (1) and to the blade (2). The joining member (3) is made of spring steel and manufactured in the form of several rods (4) or a thin-walled plate (5) located in the plane of the stick. The degree of flexibility of the joining member (3) may be changed by adjusting the stick to the playing capabilities of a particular ice hockey player. For changing flexibility of the blade (2), the plate (5) is attached to the handle (1) through the use of a detachable joint, providing for extension of the handle (1) from the slot (8) to a various length. When the elastic member (3) is made in the form of the rods (4), the right-hand and left-hand thread is cut on the ends thereof, and the rods are screwed into the handle (1) and blade (2), forming the threaded connections.
