Protective eyewear comprises an elongated sheet of flexible material comprising either two transparent viewing areas separated by a central area or a single transparent viewing area extending substantially the full width of the transparent sheet. Means for attaching the eyewear to the wearer comprises at least two skin-compatible adhesive areas on either side of the elongated sheet.
