FIELD: civil engineering; erection of pipe lines in permafrost, marsh-ridden and watered regions. SUBSTANCE: lattice-like mat has two rectangular supports located at gap and at least two connecting belts whose ends are secured on supports. One layer of multi-layer supports is made from antifriction material. Mat is placed on pipe before mounting reinforced concrete weighting material. Supports of mat protect insulating coat of pipe line in area where reinforced concrete weighting material rests on it.
