TRANSMISSION-RECEPTION SYSTEM FOR ELECTRONIC CLOCKS

A transmission-reception system for electronic clocks which is constituted so that the system can transmit data to an analog clock from an external device without using any electrical contact or giving any influence to the movement of the hands of the clock. More specifically, a data transmitting unit performs data transmission upon reception of a timing signal transmitted from the analog clock. When the data transmitting unit performs the data transmission, the analog clock does not perform data reception except for the instance of necessary timing, the reception being performed intermittently.
