FIELD: means of protection of man's body against firearm. SUBSTANCE: armored jacket has front rack and back made of laminated high-modulus fabric with armor components, neck-shoulder strap, protective apron, fasteners of jacket components and facilities for adjusting the jacket to man's figure and waistbelt placed in them. The front rack and back on the inner side are furnished with ventilation - shock-absorber rest, and on the outer side - with anti-ricochet stracks. The joint of the neck- shoulder strap and upper part of the back has a plate with a transport loop above it. The front rack in the upper part is furnished with a hinged strap having a fastener over the entire length engageable with the fastener at ends of the collar, and in the lower part, with a guide pocket for the apron. The latter can move in vertical direction. Shoulder covers of the neck-shoulder strap are furnished with stops for bells of carried equipment and weapon butt. EFFECT: enhanced convenience in use without reduction of protective properties. 11 cl, 2 dwg5
