FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: composition comprises binder, surfactant, aluminium powder and acid-type foaming-hardening agent. Phenol binder is essentially resol-type liquid phenol resin prepared by reacting diphenyl propane with formaldehyde in the presence of alkali metal hydroxide. Composition based plastic foams have reduced shrinkage, elevated working temperatures and are ecologically pure and not easily combustible. The composition comprises desired additives.
