PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent undesired leakage of information by allowing the transmitter to have a means that instructs conversion from an optical wave into a radio wave so as to select and designate a transmission object thereby converting the optical wave into the radio wave only as required. SOLUTION: An optical wave-radio wave converter 10 converts an optical wave into a radio wave or vice versa. A light receiving section 11 receives the optical wave. A light emitting section 12 emits the optical wave. A transmission section 13 sends the radio wave. A reception section 14 receives the radio wave. A conversion instruction section 15 is a switch, and only when it is depressed, the converter 10 converts the optical wave into the radio wave or vice versa. Other device may control the converter 10 in place of the switch. Two transmitters are used to receive an optical wave and to make communication by means of a radio wave. Even when any obstacle is in existence between them, the communication is not interfered, and the undesired leakage of secrecy is prevented by operating the switch to stop the transmission. Moreover, a communication object is selected by receiving a radio wave conversely to use an optical wave for communication thereby preventing undesired malfunction. |
