PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve throughput in image formation by efficiently and effective ly utilizing an intermediate transfer body with respect to an image forming device which executes the image formation of the intermediate transfer body system. SOLUTION: In the case of continuously forming images from a source image onto a sheet to be recorded, when the size of these source image and sheet to be recorded is smaller than the maximum size for this image forming device, an image reading means 10 simultaneously reads image data from plural source images, the respective image data read by this image reading means 19 are simultaneously formed on an intermediate transfer body 43 by an image forming means 40, and the respective images formed on this intermediate transfer body 43 are outputted by an image output means 50 being successively transferred on the plural pages of sheet to be recorded. |
