PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front panel for a video device having a small loss of light quantity due to light scattering and diffusion, improving the gradation and luminance of each color on a CRT and giving a sense of unity to a housing part and a video display part at the time of turning off the power source of the device. SOLUTION: This selected wavelength absorbable sheet comprises at least one selected wavelength absorption layer made of a resin composition composed of at least transparent resin and a light absorbing compound. The total light transmissivity is larger than 60%, the spectral transmission factors in a visible light region fall within: (a) 70-85% in 430-480 nm, (b) 60-80% in 530-570 nm, (c) 50-75% in 600-630 nm and the transmissivities at wavelengths (A) 450 nm, (B) 545 nm, (C) 610 nm are made to be (A)>(B)>(C). |
