<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily control the rendering style of a text and/or a graphics image shown on a computer screen by displaying a hierarchical array of components of a rendering tool. SOLUTION: The graphics components of a rendering tool are shown in a tree structure 130, which is displayed on a computer monitor. A style object 132 is used to define a freehand graphics rendering tool which is used for forming a brush stroke in an image observation area 112 of a screen display 100. A style editor is started when the object 132 is selected out of the tree structure 130, and many attributes, i.e., subcomponents of the object 132 are displayed.</p> |
