[Also in Division C3] Films made from polyesters of adipic or succinic acid and 2,2 - bis(4 - hydroxy - 3,5- dichlorophenyl)-propane are crystallized by heating them to a temperature at least 10‹ C. above their second order transition temperatures but not higher than 10‹ C. below their crystalline melting points. The films may be cast from a solution of the polyester in sym.- tetrachloroethane. |
