DOCUMENT MANAGING METHOD, ITS SYSTEM AND MACHINE READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM RECORDING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set up copyright management information(CMI) in each constitution unit of a document in a document management system for managing electronically processed documents. SOLUTION: A CMI setting means 5 sets up CMI in each constitution unit of a document stored in a document storing part 4 and correspondingly stores the set CMI and information indicating the constitution unit setting up the CMI in a CMI storing part 6. When a document preparing means 3 requests the utilization of a prescribed part in another document stored in the storing part 4 during the preparation of a certain document, a CMI checking means 8 determines a usable part in the prescribed part based on the CMI of a constitution unit to be overlapped to the prescribed part which is stored in the storing part 6.
