PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To report the presence or absence of a succeeding reception message by using a normal display icon by dividing the reception message into two or more pages, judging the presence or absence of the divided reception message on the next page of a scroll-displayed page and reporting the presence or the absence by a message number or scroll direction display. SOLUTION: Message display is started by the operation of a scroll switch 14, the reception message is read from a reception message storage area 34, a page processing and the data editing of a flag for indicating the presence of a continuous message are executed and the presence/absence of the reception message continued to the next page are judged. Based on the judged result, the flicker display of a scroll direction display icon is executed when the continuous message is present and the flicker processing is stopped when it is not present. After the processing, the reception message is displayed at a message display part 12 and the idle processing of displaying the reception message is performed until the next operation is performed. |
