PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep air-tightness for a long duration to prevent leakage of electric discharge to the outside. SOLUTION: This anode cap comprises a cap main body 3A to be fitted in the outside of a tip end of an anode 2 for a flyback transformer and an elastically deformable skirt part 3B spread into a funnel-like shape and formed continuously from the cap main body 3A and the tip end of the skirt part 3B of the anode cap is closely attached to a picture tube 1 for a television by joining the tip end of a clip 4 installed in the tip end of the anode 2 to a through hole 5 in the picture tube 1 for a television. In an anode cap constituted in such a manner, the skirt part 3B is composed of an inside skirt part 3a and an outside skirt part 3b concentrically arranged each other at a slight gap α from each other. |
