PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily cope with a change in a thickness of a base board without changing a connector itself by forming the connection side of a block out of a cover of a separate part, inserting the base board by arranging a fitting groove in the cover, and slidingly moving contacts by arranging projection parts in the fitting groove. SOLUTION: The necessary number of inserting grooves into which contacts 14 are inserted are arranged in a cover 16, and projection parts 40 to press the contacts 14 in the inside direction are arranged in the inserting grooves. A fitting groove 26 into which a base board 30 is inserted is arranged in the width directional almost center in the cover 16. The size of the fitting groove 26 is made larger by about 0.1 to 0.5 mm than a thickness of the base board 30. The contacts 14 are composed of three parts of a contact part 22 to contact with a mating connector, a fixing part 38 fixed to a block 12 and a connecting part 24 connected to the base board 30. The contacts 14 are held by and fixed to the block 12. Only the cover 16 is replaced to a change in a thickness of the base board 30. |
