PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive source control method having no abnormal sound or unstable behavior of control system which can be seen when a sampling rate is simply secured, by securing the band without lowering the sampling rate even though the drive source is driven at a low speed and further detecting both phase and both edge. SOLUTION: This method has an encoder 22 for outputting a plurality of phase signals, a detecting method 37 for detecting all edges of output signals of a plurality of phases, and an arithmetic unit (CPU) 46 for measuring edge intervals adjacent to the time series, and also has a first process for acquiring a control target value based on a value obtained from CPU46 and a second process for controlling the drive speed of a drive source based on the results of a comparison between the value obtained by CPU46 and the control target value. |
