PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily produce an antireflection film having a high antireflection effect and superior scratch resistance by using a low refractive index layer composed of fluorine-contg. polymer particles and a polymerizable monomer and/or a polymerizable oligomer and/or a polymerizable polymer. SOLUTION: This antireflection film contains a low refractive index layer 1 obtd. by piling up two or more fine particles 2 of a fluorine-contg. polymer (fluororesin) having 5-200 nm average particle diameter on a substrate 11 and forming microvoids among the fine particles. The low refractive index layer 1 is composed of the fluorine-contg. polymer particles 2 and a polymerizable monomer and/or a polymerizable oligomer and/or a polymerizable polymer. The layer 1 is preferably used in combination with a high refractive index layer 4 formed on the substrate 11.
