摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic locking device enabling a moving iron core to be prevented from freezing in extremely cold winter or cold climates. SOLUTION: A locking device M1 has a fixed iron core 6 combined with a hollow magnetic coil portion 8 and a moving iron core 18 being able to move in relation to the fixed iron core 6 in a body case 2, and is provided with a bracket 4 which can be attached to a mounting member at the end of the body case 2. The magnetic coil portion 8 is provided with a first coil 10 which is magnetized by direct current to attract the moving iron core 18 to the fixed iron core 6 and move them, together with a second coil 11 which is magnetized by alternating current to provide heat without moving the moving iron core 18. When the first coil 10 is demagnetized, the moving iron core 18 is protruded through the bracket 4 toward the mounting member side by energized force of a coil spring 28 to produce a lock action at a slide portion 19 of the protruded moving iron core 18, and meanwhile the moving iron core 18 is kept at a higher temperature than ambient temperature by heat generated by the second coil 11.</p>
