<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projecting method and a projection picture display system with respect to a projection type picture display device where the luminance adjustment of a screen is easily executed for each picture element unit constituting a picture. SOLUTION: A microlens array 130 is provided on the front surface of an optical path adjusting unit 120, and light beams generated from a light source 110 are converted into parallel beams by a field lens 117, and the parallel beams converted are centralized in a picture element unit by a microlens corresponding to each picture element unit. The parallel beams centralized while passing the microlens are reflected by the mirror of the optical path adjusting unit 120, and pass the microlens in the vicinity of the microlens and are projected on the screen, so that a picture plane is constituted. A micro color filter array is provided on the front surface of the microlens so as to make only red light, blue light and green light pass, and the optical path is adjusted so as to coincide with each hue by the optical path adjusting unit 120, so that a color picture plane is formed only by one optical path adjusting unit.</p> |
