PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of preventing image deterioration such as vertical lines and prolonging the life a developing roller. SOLUTION: This is a developing device, which includes a developing roller 5 formed with a toner layer of non-magnetic 1 element on its surface, a toner supply roller arranged on the developing roller 5 to come in contact with it and for supplying toner to the developing roller 5 as well as for pre-electrifying toner, and toner regulating plate 7 forming a thin layer on the developing roller 5 by regulating toner on the developing roller 5, and which is of a non-magnetic 1 element making an electrostatic latent image a visible image by sticking toner on the electrostatic latent image on an electrostatic latent image carrying body, has the developing roller 5 formed its interior with an elastic foam body 27 and its surface with a skin layer 28, while the material o the skin layer 28 and that of the elastic foam body 27 are identical. |
