PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioner which can be suspended with the back surface thereof being set closely to the outer wall of a building or touching the outer wall by an arrangement wherein condensed water can be atomized and discharged to the atmosphere and the body is reduced in size without sacrifice of appearance. SOLUTION: A fan 10 has a central boss part corresponding to the drive shaft of a fan motor, an annular bottomed flange part 10a opening upward and disposed on the outside of the boss part, a plurality of blade parts projecting from the outer circumference of the annular flange part 10a, protrusions 10c projecting oppositely to the outer circumference of the annular flange part 10a, and through holes 10b made at the annular flange part 10a while facing the protrusions 10c. A drain pan 5 is provided with a drain port 5a for introducing condensed water toward the annular flange part 10a. The condensed water introduced into the annular flange part 10a through the drain port 5a is jetted through the through holes 10b toward the protrusions 10c by the centrifugal force of the fan 10 and discharged to the atmosphere after being atomized at the protrusions 10c. |
