<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a printed matter as is desired by a sending end to a receiving end without performing erroneous printing by discriminating a processing mode at the time printing print data that is included in a received mail, selecting a printer that has a function which suits the processing mode and performing printing processing based on the received mail. SOLUTION: A print mail receiving utility 31b that is started at the time of startup of personal computers 4, 10 and 12 requests a post office protocol(POP) server 38 of mail servers 24 and 26 for mails of a POP client 36 destination. The server 38 sends a mail to a mail box 40 which is prepared for the utility 31b from the inside of a mail spool 34 in response to the request. Here, a processing mode at the time of printing print data which is included in a received mail is discriminated, a printer that has a function which suits for the discriminated processing mode is selected among plural printers 6, 14, 16 and 18 and print processing is performed based on a received mail.</p> |
