PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrophotographic system image forming device which is small-sized and capable of preventing a defect in an image caused by forming matter on an electrophotogtraphic photoreceptor, even in long-term use by arranging a light transmissible film on the optical path of discharged light, at the time of removing the foreign matter on the surface of the photoreceptor to make it clean. SOLUTION: A film-like cleaner means 7 removes material stuck to the surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor 1, in such a manner that the light transmissible film extended on two rolls is pressed/slid on the photoreceptor 1. The film-like cleaner means 7 is held in a separate state from the photoreceptor 1, in a normal image forming cycle and when the photoreceptor 1 has a fixed number of image forming cycles, the film-like cleaner means 7 is pressed on the photoreceptor 1, so that the rotating photoreceptor 1 slides on the film to remove the material stuck on the photoreceptor 1. After that, the cleaner means 7 is separated from the photoreceptor 1, the used part of the film is wound and a fresh film surface is prepared for the next cleaning. |
