PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operation efficiency and to prevent wrong input by providing the POS device with a means which enables a customer to select and input a request item alone. SOLUTION: When an operator operates a key input part 1-4 to start settling the account, input from a push-button switch 2-2 of a customer input unit 2 is permitted. The operator operates the key input part 1-3 to perform a sale calculating process. The customer when having a request item selects and presses the push-button switch 2-2 of the customer input unit 2 corresponding to the request item to input the request item. In this cast, the selected request items is inputted to a POS main body 1 and then while a pilot lamp 2-1 illuminates, the selected request item is displayed on a display unit 1-2. The operator need not input the request item by asking the customer at each time in the conventional manner, so that the operation efficiency is improved. |
