<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relating method for the transceiver which is in operation at a high data rate and where the on the fly between different data rates and/or different formats is switched. SOLUTION: A high data rate base band processor 40 includes a modulator 50 that applies spread spectrum phase shift keying(PSK) modulation to information for transmission via a radio circuit. The modulator 50 includes at least one modified Walsch code function coder to code information with a modified Walsch that enhances overall system performance by substantially decreasing a mean DC signal component when a received signal is AC-coupled with a demodulator 60 via at least one A/D converter. The demodulator 60 applies spread spectrum, PSK demodulation to the information received from the radio circuit. The modulator 50 and the demodulator 60 are operated in the biphase PSK(BPSK) mode at a 1st data rate or the quadrature PSK(QPSK) mode at a 2nd data rate respectively.</p> |
