<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably obtain appropriate and uniform electrification amount, to prevent fogging and the lowering of image density and to stably obtain a distinct image by producing toner by mixing coloring particles and additive after humidification by spraying the droplets of water to either the coloring particles or the additive. SOLUTION: The toner is produced by mixing the coloring particles and the additive after the humidification by spraying the droplets of the water to either the coloring particles and the additive. By softening electrostatic interaction between the coloring particles and the additive by executing humidifying processing in a method where the droplets of the water are sprayed by using a spray nozzle 7 before mixing both of them, the additive is uniformly dispersed in the coloring particles and the toner having the appropriate and uniform electrification amount is stably obtained. It is desirable to set the volume median diameter of the droplet of the water to <=100μm. When the droplet diameter exceeds 100μm, the coloring particles and the additive are aggregated, so that desired electrifying performance is not obtained.</p> |
