PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method and a driving equipment of a step motor which can surely control motor vibration and noise generation. SOLUTION: A driving equipment consists of control circuits 11, 21, driving circuits 12, 22, digital-analog converters 13, 23, comparators 14, 24, one-shot multivibrators 15, 25, driving coils 16, 26, edge detecting circuits 17, 27. one-shot multivibrators 18, 28, etc. The driving equipment supplies a driving current to the driving coils 16, 26 and drives a step motor. The driving current repeats increase and decrease in such a manner that the current amplitude approaches a set value changing stepwise with time. The attenuation ratio of the driving current in the case of attenuation is set ordinarily to be small, but made large for a specified period from the time when the set value has shifted to the next step. |
