PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the surface property of the reflecting film formed in one main surface side of a substrate and to improve a signal characteristic in the case of laminating a magneto-optical recording film and a light transmitting layer on it and reproducing information by irradiating with the light from the light transmitting layer side. SOLUTION: The reflecting film 4 is formed on one main surface 1a of the substrate 1 via the dielectric film 3, the magneto-optical recording film 6 and the light transmitting layer 8 are laminated on it and information is reproduced by irradiating with the light from the side of the light transmitting layer 8. Moreover, the thickness of the light transmitting layer 8 is preferably specified to be 100μm or below. Also, the dielectric film 3 between the substrate 1 and the reflecting film 4 is preferably formed with a silicon nitride. Further, the thickness of the dielectric film 3 is preferably specified to be 30 nm or above.
