Appts. for cleaning and disinfecting contact lenses comprising housing (1) with open top chamber (14) with two metal contact plates (17); cylindrical ultrasonic wave guide (3); cleaning cup (4) in ultrasonic wave guide; solution in cleaning cup; lens holder (5) with two lens hanging devices (51); heating rod (6) suspended in holder base with two electrodes; top cap (7), the contact metal plates connecting to the electrodes of the heating rod; control circuit comprising microprocessor to heat solution to 90 deg C for 15 to 20 minutes, ultrasonic speaker (32) on wave guide controlled by microprocessor to provide field of 1.5 to 3W/*cm<-2> at 20 to 30kHz for 6 to 10 minutes.
