CODE-RECORDING APPARATUS, METHOD FOR MULTIPLEXING CODE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a multiplex bit stream of a sound compression code changing a bit rate and an animation image compression code, so as to reduce a capacity of a buffer of a reproducing apparatus. SOLUTION: Concurrent video and audio code strings are divided to packets, multiplexed and recorded to a recording medium 90 in the code-recording apparatus. The apparatus has a multiplex means 410 which compares time stamps indicating a reproduction time and/or a decode time of video frames and audio frames to make the video frames and audio frames concurrent.
