PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a digital image forming device where occurrence of a defect is properly grasped at a remote location. SOLUTION: For example, an image forming device 3 and a portable transmitter 1 are connected by an interface and the portable transmitter 1 is connected to a portable transmitter 2 through a radio channel to configure a system. Through the constitution above, a storage content of a memory section 32 of the device 3 is written in a memory of the portable transmitter 1 and the content is sent to the portable transmitter 2 by a telephone function to allow the portable transmitter 2 at a remote location to grasp the state of processing of image data, and on the occurrence of a fault or its equivalent, it is returned and displayed on a display section 43. Then the state of the device 3 is easily grasped by using the portable transmitters 1, 2 and the proper machine operation of the device 3 is urged at a remote location. |
