<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having excellent release property, wide fixing temp. range and excellent blocking resistance with which stable images can be obtd. in various environments. SOLUTION: The toner contains at least a binder resin, wax and a charge controlling agent. The THF(tetrahydrofuran)-soluble component of the toner has 2×10<4> to 1×10<6> Mw (weight average mol.wt.) and 2×10<3> to 1.5×10<4> Mn (number average mol.wt.) with Mw/Mn=3 to 200. The binder resin contains styrene-butadiene copolymers. The wax is prepared to show such properties that in the distribution of carbon numbers measured by chromatography, the quantity continuously changes with the carbon number and the region where the quantity continuously changes ranges >=10 carbon numbers. The charge controlling agent consists of particles of a crystalline compd. having at least one peak with <=1.0 (deg) halfwidth in the scattering intensity curve by the X-ray diffraction with a CuKαline in the range from 3 to 30 of 2θ(deg).</p> |
