PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of reducing the scattering of powder materials, regardless of transferring the powder materials with use of a screw pump. SOLUTION: In this device, a toner hopper 200B is provided with a receiving section 209 receiving the toner transferred by transferring means and the toner level sensor 217 arranged in the toner hopper 200B, and the toner transferring quantity of the above transferring means and the toner quantity to be supplied to the developing section 200A is respectively controlled so that the toner quantity in the toner hopper 200B based on the toner level sensor 217 is held in a specific level range. In the same time thereof, an opening section 209a for communicating with outdoor air through a filter 209b is disposed on the upper section of the receiving section 209, a bottom discharging port 209c of the receiving section 209 enters into the toner hopper B inside below below the above level range. |
