MOVING IMAGE DECODING METHOD AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decode plural moving image coded data without stopping and to reproduce entire moving images. SOLUTION: Decoders 15 to 20 separately decode bit streams 1 to 6 in rate that separately correspond to decoding level control information 21 to 26 and outputs reproduced images 27 to 32. A decoding level control part 14 inputs priority information 7 to 12 of each bit stream 1 to 6, allocates decoding capability of whole decoders 15 to 20 to each bit stream 1 to 6 according to the information 7 to 12 and outputs rate that correspond to allocated decoding capabilities as the information 21 to 26 to each decoder 15 to 20.
