PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably measure a hydrogen gas concentration in melted aluminum for several times without performing preheating that has been considered to be absolutely necessary. SOLUTION: A pipe-shaped porous ceramic 6 is fitted onto the outer-periphery surface of a ceramic pipe 4 of a probe or a felt ceramic sheet is fixed. Then, the temperature difference between the outer-periphery part of the probe and a sensor element 1 that is located at a center part is increased and the temperature at the center part is allowed to become the same temperature as that of melted aluminum in several minutes. |
