PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device with a color filter capable of a sufficiently bright color image even in a reflection display device displaying using external light. SOLUTION: Color filters 12R, 15G, 15B of red, green, blue respectively corresponding to respective pixel areas A are formed smaller than the area of the pixel area A, and the areas wherein the color filters on respective pixel areas A do not correspond to each other are made a vertically long shape uncolored light emission area (a) along in the upper/lower direction of a screen which transmits the light made incident from the front of the device, reflected by a reflection plate and emitted from the front of the device through without being colored. |
