<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic paper usable in combination with a powdery toner for xerography and reducing heat and energy required to fuse the toner to photographic paper. SOLUTION: This photographic coated paper contains a cellulose substrate, a 1st antistatic layer brought into contact with the front side of the substrate, a 2nd toner receiving coating brought into contact with the top of the antistatic layer and contg. a mixture of a polymer binder with a toner spreader, a light resistant inducer, a biocide and a filler and a 3rd suction regulating coating brought into contact with the rear side of the substrate and contg. a mixture of a polymer having about -50 to +50 deg.C glass transition temp. with an antistatic agent, a light resisting agent, a biocide and a pigment. An image can also be recorded on the 3rd suction accelerating coating with a xerographic copying machine or a printer. The cellulose substrate is made of a blend of alkali- or acid-sized hard craft and soft craft fibers. The blend contains about 10-90 wt.% soft craft fibers and about 90-10 wt.% hard craft fibers. The cellulose substrate has 200-1,100" sizing value, 50-300 mil/min porosity and 50-250μm thickness.</p> |
